【Intended Use】
Rabies virus (RBV) infection is a zoonotic infectious disease
caused by rabies virus. Rabies virus is mainly found in the brain
extension, cerebral cortex, cerebellum and spinal cord of diseased
animals. Salivary glands and saliva also often contain a large
number of viruses, which can be caused by bites, scratches or
transmucosal infections of rabies animals, and can also be
transmitted through respiratory aerosols under certain conditions.
This kit is used to qualitatively detect rabies virus in cat/dog
saliva.

【Components】

【Principle】
This kit uses a specific antigen-antibody response and colloidal
gold immunochromatography to detect rabies virus (RBV) antigens in
cat/dog saliva samples. After the sample is added to the dosing
well, it moves along the chromatography membrane with the colloidal
gold marker, if the rabies virus is present in the sample, it binds
to the colloidal gold marker and the antibody on the detection line
(T line) to show purple red, and if the sample does not have rabies
virus, the detection line (T line) does not have a purple-red line.
Regardless of whether the rabies virus is present in the sample, a
purple-red line appears on the quality control line (C line).
【Shelf Life and Validity】
Storage conditions: Stored in a dry place at 2-40 ° C, avoid direct
sunlight, do not open it before use.
Validity: 24 months.
Production date and expiration date are detailed in the outer
packaging.
【Result Interpretation】
1. Negative: In the detection window, only a purple-red line
appears on the control line (C). Indicates that Toxoplasma gondii
may not be exist in the sample.
2. Positive: In the detection window, a purple-red line appears at
the same time at detection line (T) and control line (C). Indicates
the existence of Toxoplasma gondii in the sample.
3. Invalid: In the detection window, control line (C) does not
appear indicates that the result is invalid. It may not be done
properly and retesting is recommended.
